The surgery is closed between 18.30 – 8.00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, on Monday from 20.00 – 8.00 and on Tuesday after 13.00. We are also closed on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. During the Out-of-Hours period you can ring our telephone number and an answering machine will provide all the necessary information that you will need.

Dial 111 if you need help fast but it’s not a life threatening emergency. Calls from landlines and mobiles are free.
When you call 111, you will be assessed straight away. If it is an emergency, an ambulance will be despatched immediately without the need for any further assessment. For any other health problems, the NHS 111 call advisers will be able to direct you to the service that is best able to meet your needs. For minor illnesses and injuries, the 111 service will be able to provide immediate medical advice.

Only dial 999 in a critical or life-threatening situation, for example if someone has:
- loss of consciousness
- acute confused state and fits that are not stopping
- persistent, severe chest pain
- breathing difficulties
- severe bleeding that can’t be stopped
- if you suspect a heart attack
- if you suspect a stroke
